Grey, Zane Zane Grey's Western Magazine (Box Lot Of 57 Vintage Issues)
New York: Dell, 1954 Paperback Good+ with no dust jacket
Classic Monthly Pulp Western Series. Nice run of 57 digest-size paperbacks: Vol. 2, No.12 thru Vol. 7, No.9, EXCEPT for Vol. 7, No.4 (June 1953) which is missing from the set. Vintage cover art and frontispieces by Bob Stanley; Nicholas S. Firfires; Earl Sherwan; George Prout; Dan Muller, Malcolm Smith, Alden S. McWilliams, Bill George, Mayo Olmstead, Stanley Borack, etc.. Uniform set averages Good to Good+ or better, with moderate edgewear and spine fade. Full-color covers are bright and fresh, most with very minor wear. Pages are browned, but still supple and not brittle. 2 issues contain short features by Jo Mora. Added bonus: A fair reading copy of Vol. 2, No. 9 (Nov. 1948) included with the lot ; FYI, there are 113 pulps in the entire Zane Grey western magazine collection dating from Nov-Dec 1946 to Sept 1974. The first 100 issues are the small pulps of which you have 58 offered online; the last 13 issues are the full size magazine issues dating from Aug 71 to Sept 74.Thus, in reality, you have 51+% of the issues offered, which is wonderful indeed !
